Worum geht es in Freedom?
Im Jahr 2041 baute die Menschheit ihre erste Raumkolonie auf dem Mond. Als eine Klimaveränderung die menschliche Zivilisation auf der Erde vernichtete, errichtete die Republik des Mondes eine Großstadt, die als Eden bekannt ist. Der Anime spielt 200 Jahre später im Jahr 2267 und im Mittelpunkt steht ein Junge namens Takeru. Seine Zeit verbringt er mit Rennen gegen die rivalisierenden Straßengruppen. Dabei ist Takeru ahnungslos, dass er im Begriff ist, den Ursprung Edens herauszufinden.
